Efficient Purification of 2′-Fucosyllactose by Membrane Filtration and Activated Carbon Adsorption

With the rapid development of synthetic biology, production 2′-fucosyllactose by biological fermentation gradually has basis for industrialization. However, lack efficient downstream technology fermentation, especially purification technology, become main factor limiting its commercialization. In this study, based on general E. coli biosynthesis broth, most impurities were removed and concentrated using membrane filtration after simple flocculation. The target was eluted in a targeted manner activated carbon adsorption ethanol gradient elution technology. product with 90% or even higher purity could be prepared efficiently. This study explored new direction industrial 2′-fucosyllactose.
